“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” -James 1:2-4

“Do not lose heart!” -2 Corinthians 4:16

I’ve had to keep these and a few other verses at the top of my priority list lately. If you hadn’t heard the news yet, Facebook shut down the Manturity Facebook page a few weeks ago.

Why? Well, they actually shut down multiple pages that were linked to a particular individual. The individual, who happened to help out our Facebook a few years back, was still on the Admin side of our page and recently posted an anti-gay post on their own page. That one post shut down every page he was linked too. (sign of the times)

After having a fan base close to 6,000, it was quite the discouraging hit. I decided to take some time to think, pray and wonder if Facebook was a platform I really needed to be on anymore.

The answer, after much debate, was YES!

As with any trial in life, the last thing we are called to do is GIVE UP. Instead, moments like this and many other moments that I’m sure you can relate too, need to be moments that build us up and make us stronger. Read the verses at the top again, thats what I keep doing.

So yes, Manturity may have been shut down, but we will rebuild and work even harder to impact men, marriages and more.

I want to thank you for your continued support and, if you are on Facebook, please consider following our new page. You can follow this link:
